Your wedding will be a most meaningful celebration, whether you want it to be formal or casual, traditional or customized, spiritual or secular.

  • You want to be confident that your ceremony will be welcoming and respectful of your family and guests.

  • You want to be able to decide on those parts of the ceremony that are most meaningful to you, drawing on your faith tradition, the arts, other sources or your own words.

  • Perhaps you will want someone else to create or choose some elements of the ceremony.

Reverend Patricia Drury has the ability to ensure that your needs, wishes, and dreams are met and fulfilled. She would be privileged to work with you.

Her basic wedding services include:

Preparation quote
You will meet with Patricia several times, in person if possible, to design your unique ceremony.

You can call on her at the beginning of your planning even if you have no idea how you want your ceremony to be. She can help you visualize your ideal wedding and bring it into being. She will provide you with examples and ideas for all the elements and optional rituals of a wedding, including passages written especially for you if you would like. She will help you find ways to include your family members or friends as you choose.

You can also call on Patricia if you already know exactly how you want your wedding to be. She will honor your requests and convert your ideas into a formal script for the ceremony. She is happy to include elements from any faith tradition as well as from other sources, as you wish.

Before the ceremony, Patricia will provide you with a draft written script. After making any changes you want, you can have confidence that everything in your wedding will be as you approved. You will receive a copy of the final script as your keepsake.

Vows
Many couples like to write their own vows while others prefer to use vows that are more traditional. If you wish, Patricia will give you a guide to writing your own vows. She will be happy to help you refine your vows to say exactly what your hearts mean.

Rehearsal
Patricia will attend your rehearsal whenever possible. She will help choreograph the ceremony, deciding with you how each member of the wedding party will enter and where they will be. She will coordinate seamlessly with other participants in your wedding, such as musicians, singers, or other celebrants.

The Ceremony and after
Patricia will conduct your wedding ceremony with dignity and grace. You can relax knowing that your ceremony is under her care. You can let your hearts open to the words you have chosen to hear and say, allowing yourselves to feel deeply your step into your new marriage.

Following the ceremony, she will take responsibility for signing your marriage license, obtaining the signatures of the witnesses, and ensuring that it is sent to the proper offices promptly.
