Marriage is perhaps the richest and most joyful celebration in your lives, and your ceremony should be exactly as you want it. Whether you are affiliated with a formal religion or not, and no matter what religious background you may have, I would be honored to work with you to create your wedding.
I can help you design a service, traditional or customized, and ensure that it goes smoothly. I have experience in creating unique wedding ceremonies to meet special needs, for example when a couple have different faiths, when they want a spiritual wedding without the specific doctrines of any one tradition, or when they have complex family interactions to consider.
I am ordained in an open and inclusive tradition that traces its roots back many hundreds of years. I fully honor all faiths and personal spiritual paths, including the choice not to have a religious affiliation. I prepared for several years for my ordination, and that preparation gave me a deep understanding of ceremonies and rituals.
In addition to my ministry, I am trained as a life coach. This gives me skills to help you identify and clarify the values, tone and content you truly want in your wedding. I also have experience as a public speaker and as a spoken word stage performer. These have given me other skills that help me understand and create the right nuances in your ceremony.

I work mainly in the Twin Cities area but am happy to travel elsewhere in exchange for reasonable travel expenses being paid. My ministerial credentials are registered in the State of Minnesota, and I can obtain credentials for other states as well.
